ACTING CLASSES

It's never too late.

Pinewood Players is pleased to offer Acting and Improv Classes for adults during the 2026 season. We welcome Lisa Boser, professional actor and director, to the Pinewood Players family.

Lisa Boser was born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. She graduated from a two-year musical theatre program and has since traveled with a European theatre company as an actor and voice trainer. Additionally, she produced and toured in a children's theatre group across Canada.

Her performance credits include over 25 shows for Fringe Festivals in both Canada and Europe. Many dinner theatre shows and stage performances. As a director, she has led productions of Brigadoon, Annie, and Oklahoma. Lisa was also the owner of Jagged Edge Lunchbox Theatre, which specialized in producing one-act comedies and musicals.

Lisa moved to Arizona five years ago and is looking forward to working with Pinewood Players.

Adult Acting Classes 101

Pinewood Players is offering a 6-week beginner acting course for adults who wish to experience this creative art.

This class is designed specifically for those with little or no prior experience. The class provides a low-pressure environment to learn fundamentals, including: stage presence, scene work, voice, and movement. It is an ideal opportunity for first-time actors or adults looking to build confidence and creative expression without the stress of auditions.

Classes on Monday, June 1st , 8th, 15th ,22nd ,29th and July 6th 5:00 to 6:30 PM.

Adult IMPROV CLASSES

Improv is easy and fun! Join us for the Pinewood Players Improv Classes, a committed six-week course designed to build confidence, focus, and connection through laughter and play.

Whether you're a senior exploring something new, a creative person seeking inspiration, or an aspiring actor wanting to feel more comfortable on stage, this class welcomes you. There are no scripts and no judgment, just playful fun.

Classes on Monday, June 1st , 8th, 15th ,22nd ,29th and July 6th 6:30 to 8:00 PM.
