DRAMA CAMPS

The Pinewood Players Drama Camp has supported young Munds Park actors for 26 years! Our Participants build confidence, strengthen teamwork, develop performance abilities, and gain a deeper appreciation for every aspect of theater — all while having a great time.

Pinewood Players Drama Camps 2026

Our Drama Camp has two separate programs. Seven - nine-year-olds will participate in the Kidz Kamp, while the older participants, ages ten to eighteen, will be in the Youth Camp.

Kids Kamp will run for two weeks, while the Youth Camp will run for three weeks, overlapping the Kids Kamp dates. Because July 4th falls on a Saturday, which eliminates our normal weekend for Kidz Kamp performances, all campers will learn and perform Seussical, Jr., with Music by Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty. Based on the works of Dr. Seuss. Jennifer Adams will return to direct, with Isabel Catalano as choreographer. Elizabeth Peterson will be providing costumes.

In this fun show, all of our favorite Dr. Seuss characters are lovingly brought to life, including Horton the Elephant, Gertrude McFuzz, Lazie Mayzie, and all of the WHO’s of Whoville! The score emerges as a Seussian gumbo of musical styles ranging from Latin to Pop, swing to gospel, and R & B to funk. So let your toes tap and your fingers snap and your imagination run wild for ”Oh the thinks you can think, when you think about Seuss!”

Both camps will culminate with final performances for the entertainment pleasure of parents, grandparents, and all Drama Camp fans. Schedules and more information are available here on our website.

Kidz Kamp

- For ages 7-9 years old Camp runs for 2 weeks

- Camp dates: held 9:00 - 12 noon

Monday - Friday, June 29 - July 3, 2026
Monday-Friday, July 6 - 10, 2026

- The 2026 production will be Seussical, Jr.

- Performances

July 9 at 7:00
July 10 at 2:30 & 5:30 pm
July 11 at 2:30 and 5:30 pm
July 12 at 2:30 pm

Tuition: $250 per child. Includes a $50 coupon to use for siblings

Please Note: You must complete this Liability Release Form for each camper.

Youth Camp

- For ages 10-18 years old Camp runs for 3 weeks

- Monday, June 22 - Friday, June 26, will be a full day sessions. June 29 - July 3 will be afternoon sessions, 1:00-4:30. July 6 - 10 will be full-day sessions, 9:00 - 4:30. Please bring a lunch on the full-day sessions.
