Hi everyone,

Can you believe fall is already here, bringing with it those lovely cooler temperatures to Munds Park? As the leaves begin to change, it’s the perfect time to look back at what an absolutely spectacular 2026 theater season we had!

The Pinewood Players had such a fantastic year, and it’s all thanks to each and every one of you – our amazing members and patrons. Remember all the laughs and cheers? We shared some truly memorable moments, from the hysterical antics of our beloved "Old Broads" to the quick-witted brilliance of our improv nights. Our drama camp kids even whisked us away on an incredible adventure to Whoville! And who could ever forget those magical Cabaret Nights in the Mountain Air Room? That stage truly sparkled with the incredible talent and infectious energy of so many Pinewood Country Club members. Their clever skits, outrageous comedy, and wonderful songs brought our season to a perfect, celebratory close here in Munds Park.

We also want to extend our sincerest gratitude to the many generous donors who contributed to our scholarship fund and operating budgets this past year. Your support means the world to us! Because of your kindness, we were not only able to award $7,000 in scholarships to four truly deserving young people, but we also got to give our theater a little TLC. We replaced the stair lighting and, thanks to the fantastic work of George Ross and his team, the stage floor looks absolutely brilliant!

Now, for the really exciting news: the 2027 season for Pinewood Players is already shaping up to be another showstopper! We’ve got the plays picked out, our directors are lined up, and the dates are officially on the calendar. So, get ready for a sneak peek at what’s in store!

June:  We'll kick things off with a laugh-out-loud adult comedy, "Drinking Habits" by Tom Smith.

July: Get ready for some youthful exuberance! Our drama camp will take over the stage with "Yeehaw!" performed by our kids' camp, followed by a heartwarming production of "Annie" from our youth camp.

Late July: Prepare to be a part of the action with "You’re the Jury: The Case of the Steel Deal," an interactive trial that's sure to keep you on the edge of your seat.

Mid-August: And, of course, our much-anticipated Cabaret Nights will return to the beautiful Mountain Air Room at Pinewood Country Club!

Make sure to keep an eye on this webpage in April to grab your tickets. They go fast!

As you soak up these beautiful, cool fall days in Munds Park, we hope you stay happy and healthy. We can't wait to welcome you all back in April 2027 for another incredible season of summer fun and “Theater Magic in the Pines”!

Warmly,

Sandy Dyke
