Welcome to the March 2026 issue of Pinewood Players' monthly newsletter. Pinewood Players publishes this newsletter each season, from March through September, to update our members, patrons, and supporters on all activities, events, and productions presented by Pinewood Players.

The temperature is starting to rise, and the “Boys of Summer” have arrived in The Valley of the Sun. The Pinewood Players Board of Directors has spent the fall and winter months planning the upcoming play season for The Pinewood Players in Munds Park.

Some of our off-season projects have included:

Happenings

The 2026 season will begin with a Member/Volunteer Reception for all Pinewood Players members in the theater on June 6, 2026, from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM. We want to thank everyone for their support and introduce them to the upgrades that we have made at the theater and some new opportunities they may want to enjoy this season.

This summer, we are pleased to offer adult Beginning Acting classes and Improv classes on Monday evenings in June. More information will be available on the Pinewood Players website in the next few weeks.

The first adult play of the 2026 season will be Four Old Broads on the High Seas, a play by Leslie Kimbell. Jayne Heckman will be directing this comedy sequel to Four Old Broads, which the Playhouse produced in 2023.

PWP Drama Camp will begin rehearsals in mid-June, followed by six performances the second week of July. They will perform Seussical Jr. How many Dr. Seuss characters will we meet?

The second adult play, Nunsense, book, music, and lyrics by Dan Goggin, will be performed on July 25th and 26th. There will be three performances of this comedy.

The ever-popular Readers Theater will round out the 2026 Pinewood Players season at Pinewood Country Club on August 13th and 14th.
